Today, Frank and I were invited to the signing and stood next to Presidential Candidate and Governor Jay Inslee as he signed House Bill 1528 into law requiring recovery housing to meet national standards. Our four houses were the first houses in the state of Washington to meet national standards set by the Washington affiliate of the National Association of Recovery Residences (WAQR).
We started our journey to improve the quality of housing for people in need. We ended the evening teaching people all over the country how to duplicate our successful model for recovery housing.
